Job Description: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Artificial Intelligence (AI) Compliance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and compliance, with expertise in assessing and managing compliance risks associated with AI-driven technologies. As an AI Compliance Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring that our clients' AI initiatives comply with legal and regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct compliance assessments and audits of AI-driven systems and applications to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and interpret regulatory requirements and guidance related to AI and machine learning, including data privacy laws, cybersecurity regulations, and ethical guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain compliance frameworks, checklists, and controls for AI-driven projects and initiatives, including data governance, model validation, and algorithmic transparency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the compliance implications of AI projects and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and remediation.
  • Monitor and track regulatory developments and industry trends related to AI and machine learning, and assess their impact on compliance requirements and obligations.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients and internal teams on compliance-related matters, including regulatory interpretations, compliance assessments, and risk management strategies.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports, findings, and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders, and assist in the development of remediation plans and corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity research, and apply them to enhance our compliance solutions and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, compliance, or related field, with a focus on regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to AI and machine learning, including GDPR, HIPAA, NIST SP 800-53, and AI ethics principles.
  • Experience with compliance frameworks and methodologies, such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR readiness assessments, and proficiency in conducting compliance assessments and audits.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and their applications in cybersecurity and compliance, including data privacy, algorithmic bias, and model explainability.
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements and guidance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate compliance findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Regulatory Liaison: Ability to establish and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders, as well as experience with representing the organization in regulatory inquiries, audits, and discussions related to AI compliance matters.
  • Change Management: Experience with change management principles and practices, including assessing the impact of regulatory changes and technological advancements on compliance programs, as well as proficiency in implementing changes and updates to compliance processes and controls.
  • Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking skills, analytical abilities, and problem-solving capabilities, as well as experience with analyzing complex compliance issues and developing practical solutions and recommendations to address them.
